We are restoring and doing some considerable upgrades and custom work on this 1968 Camaro. We installed a sub frame with a Heidts coil over set up and power assist rack and pinion steering. We installed a new 12 bolt rear axle with disc brakes and a Hodgekis sway bar kit. We will be installing an LS7 with approximately 600 HP and a heavy duty 4L70E transmission.
Chip is painting the stripes on today and then it will be disassembled and cleared. The owner wants a custom interior similar to a 2012 Camaro look.
Kent has finished the body and fitment and Chip has finished the paint and stripes on this 1968 Camaro. The client commissioned us to install mini tubs, replace the sub frame with a Heidts coil over set up and power assist rack and pinion steering. Install a new 12 bolt rear axle with disc brakes, new leaf springs and a Hodgekis sway bar kit. We’ll be installing an LS7 engine with approximately 600HP and a heavy duty 4L70E transmission. Once the mechanical is complete we’ll design and install a custom interior that has a similar look and feel as a 2012 Camaro.
