One of the clients that has chosen Precision Restorations as their go to restoration facility is Anheuser Busch. We have done several projects for them including:
-Full restoration with upgrades of one of the vehicle in the tour center here in Louis
-Partial restoration (mainly body and paint) of their other tour center vehicle
-Two ground up kit builds for two different distributors. These are pretty neat for several reasons. We custom made the mold for the body here in house. From there we had a custom chassis made for each vehicle. Each chassis featured a mustang two front end, disk brakes and power steering. The vehicles were powered by 2.3L four cylinder.
-Finally we have the one that is here in our shop now: an original 1929 Ford Model A with a Stake bed.
This distributor is having us restore this vehicle and mock it up to look like the tour center/kit cars that we have done for AB in the past.
We will be:
-Blasting the bed frame
-Replacing the wood for the bed floor
-Building a new stake bed
-Repainting the vehicle in red/black with AB logo on the door
-Restoring the interior

Dan just finished cutting in the black paint for the body and panels.

The vehicle is finished with paint and we are working on reassembly.
Currently Ralph is working on reassembly. Specifically he is putting in the rear body panels today.

Today Ralph is installing the front fenders. Jake is also hard at work staining and clearing the wood for the bed.
Today Ralph is installing the hood and Charlie is working on getting the new seat cover stitched up.
Assembly is nearly complete and the seat is wrapped up.
Justin and Jake are working together today on assembling the bed and the stakesides.
Charlie is in the process of installing the new vinyl top for the vehicle.
