New job in the shop! Restoration on a 1971 Chevy Chevelle SS.
It is a little rough now, requiring quite a bit of work on the body and mechanically, but it will be one amazing classic muscle car when it is done.
Mike has started tearing down the Chevelle.
Mike has almost completely stripped down the Chevelle, he has welded in the new floor and he is test fitting the new panels.
Mike is cutting off the rear quarter skins and welding in the new rear outer wheel houses.
Mike is getting to work on cutting out the trunk drop pans on the Chevelle.
Del is breaking down the engine today to get it ready to go out to the engine builder and the vehicle is up on the frame rack to get it set up and measured.
The body is getting lifted off the chassis and the chassis is getting ready to move over to media blasting.

The rear end is getting disassembled for restoration, the frame is getting blasted and some of the front suspension components are painted and done.

Ben is installing the new control arm bushings, brake lines, hoses and brakes on the rear end and getting the rear end set back under the frame today.

Dan painted the firewall and the cowl. Looks amazing and we get to finally see the original color of the vehicle again.
Headlight bezel is reworked, fender wells are painted and ready to go in, new convertible top hoses are installed and the rear wiring harness is installed.

Justin is reassembling the Chevelle today. Nearly every part on this car is new and it is going to be unbelievable.

Back seat is finally installed!
Dan has repainted the Chevelles quarters.
The Chevelle rear quarters are painted and ready for reassembly.
The rear bumper and deck lid is back on the Chevelle and now everything is lined up perfectly!
The install of the A/C is wrapped up on the Chevelle and splatter painting the trunk, this car is just about ready to leave!
The restored steering wheel, hurst shifter and new horns are installed on the Chevelle.
Ben has started to take down all the suspension parts and core support. He will then blast all the parts, paint them and then install any and all new parts.
All the front end brakes and components are installed and Ben has been hanging the front panels.
More hooking up of the engine, new bumpers are in and gas tank is ready to install.
