1949 Chevy 3800

Precision Restorations just got another new job.  A Chevy 3800 with a 9 foot bed.  This is a very rare truck and will be beautiful when it is done.

Disassembly is in full swing for the 3800.

The shop is at full speed on getting this 1949 3800 stripped down and moving towards the body department.  For anybody that has not yet heard about this vehicle you will want to pay close attention.  We are working with one of our clients to do a full frame of Restoration of this vehicle.  We then plan to take it and sell it at the first ever Orange County CA, Barrett-Jackson auction in June.  Keep watching this build, it will be great!

The Chevy continues on with Dan taking the cab and the engine off the frame.

Alex is blasting the frame for the 3800 to get it ready for paint.

The frame for the 3800 is media blasted and ready for primer and paint.

Now that the frame is media blasted Alex is repairing any damaged areas on the frame before primer.

The frame is out of the booth and looks beautiful in a fresh coat of chassis black.
