One more new job just came in. Interior and paint restoration on a 1931 Ford Roadster.
The body has been removed from the frame for the Roadster and we are working on grinding off all the old paint from the body. There was quite a bit of body filler under the paint when it came in so we will remove all that before making our repairs, priming and painting.
This is hopefully a classic car restoration that is soon to come!
The 1931 Ford for Anheuser Busch is getting disassembled with the stake sides getting pulled off and sanded and the bed coming off the frame.
The bed is removed off the ’31 Ford and now they are removing the cab.
We are applying body filler to the repaired drivers quarter panel today and then we will sand it down until it is just a skim coat to smooth out the repaired area. You can also see in the second picture some of the damage that we uncovered once we stripped down the paint.

We are repairing the top quarter of the drivers side of the vehicle and working on sanding it down.

On friday we worked on stripping down the rumble seat lid for the Ford Roadster. We will then repair the metal and smooth out the lid.
We are grinding down the old paint and filler from the doors and running boards for the ’31 Ford.
Today we are working on stripping down and repairing the passenger quarter panel.
We have finished up with the other quarter panel on the ’31 Ford.
After a full day of work we have one of the 1931 doors repaired and we are laying a skim coat of filler.
