Where Memories Come Alive!

1972 Chevelle

This 1972 Chevelle is just about to leave the shop and head back to its owner. This beauty was a full restoration including a dyno tested new 350 small block engine under the hood with a rebuilt Muncie 4-speed that really roars down the road. We put a lot of tender loving care into making this car drive like it just came out of the factory at Chevrolet. The new interior is beautiful and the air conditioner is a nice addition.

1970 Monte Carlo

Here’s an update on our Dallas Cowboys inspired 1970 Monte Carlo.  Our technicians Jay and Jesse recently finished installing the halo roof and chrome trim.  Our painter Chip is currently dying all of the interior parts to match the roof.  It looks dark in the picture due to lighting, but the roof and all of the interior parts will be matching Dallas Cowboy blue.  Once Chip is finished our upholsterer Jay will begin to reinstall the interior.

1952 Corsair Henry J

Our technicians have been working on this 1952 Corsair Henry J. They fabricated and installed a new sub frame with rack and pinion and disc brakes.

Mustang

This Mustang came to us to get some added performance to round out this already nice car. Some of the upgrades will include this rack-and-pinion steering system for better turning performance and set of front power disk brakes for additional stopping power. Ben and Kent have done an amazing fabrication and mechanical work on this front end. Shortly after the front end is done this mustang will be sporting a new automatic transmission to replace the manual transmission. This should be a great car to drive around town when it’s all done, especially because we will be adding air conditioning to this already cool car!

1914 Metz

Have you seen the 1914 Metz car lately? This vintage auto was a real joy to restore. We had to fabricate a few parts, but our team had no problem making special rare parts to make the Metz one of the best driving vintage cars around. Jay, our interior technician has been working meticulously on designing and hand sewing the pieces to this rare car’s top. Once the top is complete we will install the fully restored brass lamps and accessories so the owners can test out its top speed of 50 MPH.

’32 Ford “Deuce” Coupe

We have come a long way on the ’32 Ford in the last few weeks. After correcting a lot of the work from the previous chop the new cowl has been installed, the a-pillar posts cut and re-worked, the drip rails installed, quarters replaced and new deck lid fit. We also installed a new floor and modified the firewall so the customer could a megneto ignition. The doors also open and close and fit correctly in the body now. The wood structure has been cut and will be reinstalled once the inside of the car has been refinished. One interesting thing we, and the customer, discovered is that this is a very early model ’32. Notice the difference in the cowl vent door versus what it has morphed into for the majority of the ’32 Fords.

1970 Coronet R/T

A true survivor car and a “milestone” car, this Coronet R/T is equipped with the famed 440 “six-pack” engine and a four speed manual transmission with pistol grip shifter. The customers love for the car and desire to see it restored brought it to our shop with several decades worth of wear. Over the past few months we have rebuilt the engine, resealed and inspected the transmission and the rear differential. We are on the home stretch of this project, the exhaust and under-hood work needs to be completed and the interior finished. After finishing the trim work, polishing and making sure all systems are operating correctly we look forward to delivering this beauty back to its owner. As we move forward look for additional updates detailing the final steps. The customer also plans to blast this down the 1/4 mile on delivery, look forward to those videos as well. The following photos are of the initial delivery. As this portion of our site is new, look for further updates.P4015360 P3295215 P3305251 P3305252 P3305253 P3305263 P3305269 P3305293 P3305302 P3305303 P3305319 P3305327 P3305344 P3305349
